Our Mission

Since 1996, Personal Care Choices (formally Senior Choices) has been serving the citizens of East Tennessee with one goal in mind: to provide affordable non-medical, personal care services that's driven by integrity and trusted by those whom we serve. Because the company is locally owned and operated, we understand the needs that face the community everyday. Each office has an Area Director that lives and works in their respected community. The non-medical assistance we provide to our clients allows them to maintain their independence at home or in a facility, as long as possible.

Our Team

What makes Personal Care Choices unique is their Caregiver Team. Every member of the staff has passed several background checks (both civil and criminal), pre-employment drug screening, abuse and sex offenders registry, as well as being fingerprinted. They are licensed, bonded and insured employees of the company rather than being independent contractors. They are highly qualified individuals who must pass a series of training classes, including CPR/FA, before serving their first client. Their primary focus when providing services is to maintain the maximum level of independence for the client that is possible, to preserve their personal dignity and respect them as the individual that they are. Personal Care Choices promotes and encourages relationship building between caregivers and their clients by carefully staffing to match skills with needs, as well as personalities. They are dedicated to being in tune with the individuals changing situation and welcome feedback from the client and/or the client's advocates. They are proactive in advising the clients advocates of changes in the clients environment and/or general well-being.
